BRIEF HISTORY
Big Blue was founded in Rio de Janeiro in October, 1991 and began working exclusively as a provider of technical assistance and installation of hardware upgrades, originally specializing in mainframes and peripherals.
Starting in 2001, Big Blue began to make its mark in the RISC platform arena by offering the same quality and reliability for which it was already known in the Mainframe platform.
In 2006, Big Blue celebrated the beginning of its partnership with EPCOM, an integrator of CISC platform equipment, in order to resell and provide maintenance to Intel servers, expanding its areas of expertise to include all three current platforms: Mainframe, RISC and CISC, becoming, once again, a pioneer in multi-platform and multi-brand service in the national market.
Also in 2006, Big Blue began to market storage solutions and consolidation of servers in blade architecture by offering a service focused not only on price, but also after-sales support.
In 2007-2008, Big Blue began to meet the growing demand for the virtualization of IT environments with its trademark efficiency and quality becoming a partner of VMware and fully certifying its specialists and managers. Big Blue also celebrated the partnership with VERARI, creating an important synergy to offer complete and high quality solutions for virtualization and consolidation of servers.
In 2009-2010, the formula will continue: Cutting edge growth with responsibility and reliability, developing IT solutions that meet the expectations of our current and future clients. Proactivity is our diferential.
